Micro Sand Trap

The “Micro” Sand Trap replaces your cartridge type inline filter. Its unique design lets you separate and drain away the sand, shale and oxidized material that's in your water without the hassle of turning off the water, unscrewing the filter chamber and putting in a new filter time after time. The unit swirls the water, then directs it into a diverting plate, all internally. The particles settle to the bottom where you get rid of them by simply opening the valve on the bottom. The “Micro Sand Trap” uses the same technology as it’s big brothers but is smaller and less expensive. Features of the system:
